Golden Joystick Awards 2010: the full list of winners
Who won what at gaming's most golden award ceremony?
Racing Game of the Year, in association with T3
Winner: Forza Motorsport 3
First runner-up: Need for Speed: Shift
Second runner-up: Colin McRae: Dirt 2
We say: As if being awarded a GamesRadar super review 10 out of 10 wasn't enough to make the people at Microsoft and developer Turn 10 Studios insanely happy for the rest of their lives, Forza Motorsport 3 now walks away with a much deserved Golden Joystick. Apart from receiving a sensual foot massage from Jeremy Clarkson, how can things get any better for the Forza team?
Soundtrack of the Year, in association with Metal Hammer
Winner: Final Fantasy XIII
First runner-up: Brutal Legend
Second runner-up: Assassin's Creed 2
We say: Unlike the game, we didn't have to wait 20 hours for FFXIII's soundtrack to get good. It was cracking from the get go and we were genuinely thankful for that. It's what we've come to expect from Final Fantasy. We do feel sad that Brutal Legend missed out, though. And probably so do Metal Hammer.

Winner: Mass Effect 2
First runner-up: Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition
Second runner-up: Final Fantasy XIII
We say: BioWare's sci-fi epic a worthy winner purely on the strength of the Miranda sexy-time sequences alone.
Puzzle Game of the Year, in association with NGamer
Winner: World of Goo
First runner-up: Professor Layton and Pandora's Box
Second runner-up: Scribblenauts
We say: Innovative. Artistic. Brilliant. World of Goo is a game created by two men. Two men that used to work for mega-corp EA. It has won lots of awards already. If it did not win in this category, we were all ready to burn the entire country of England to the ground with the hot fires of nerd rage. Luckily we did not have to do that. It won a Golden Joystick. Or rather, a Goolden Joystick.
Sports Game of the Year, in association with Mousebreaker
Winner: FIFA 10
First runner-up: Wii Sports Resort
Second runner-up: Skate 3
We say: Look, don't even get us started on footballer's wages. Do they deserve their eighty million kazillion pounds a week wages? Is that how much they should get for kicking a ball about on a Saturday and then spending the rest of the week philandering and playing snooker? Does the pope ride a catholic bear in the woods? NO is the answer. FIFA 10, however, does deserve a joystick that is golden.
