The Good Dinosaur trailer will lift your spirits
A full-length trailer for Disney Pixar's The Good Dinosaur has dropped, giving us a better glimpse into the animated studio's second big feature this year. Conjuring up a 'what if?' scenario, the movie takes place on a version of Earth populated by dinosaurs.
After the giant asteroid that brought about their extinction zooms past our planet, those prehistoric beasties continue their reign. Humans still exist, mind. And The Good Dinosaur puts a spin on the "man and his dog" tale that involves a young Apatosaur named Arlo and his pint-sized boy companion. Get an eyeful of their journey in the new trailer below.
All the Pixar staples are present; glorious eye-popping visuals, a loveable lead character - who no doubt triumphs over adversity - and a rousing score. Looks as though the Mouse House is on track to match the success of this summer's Inside Out.
Featuring the vocal work of Raymond Ochoa, Jeffrey Wright, Steve Zahn, AJ Buckley, Anna Paquin, Sam Elliott, Frances McDormand, Marcus Scribner and Jack Bright, The Good Dinosaur opens in the US on November 25, 2015 and the UK on November 27.
