Explore your neighborhood as Link in cute Google Maps Easter egg
Link will have a new open world to explore in The Legend of Zelda for Wii U later this year, but he can navigate some more familiar streets until then. If you load up Google Maps in your browser, you'll find that the little orange Street View person has been replaced by the Hero of Time himself (or at least is cosplaying as him, complete with green tunic and voluminous blonde locks).
It’s dangerous to go alone. So why not check out the browser version of Google Maps for some legendary surprises? pic.twitter.com/Hy3cIyjySEMarch 4, 2016
If you rotate the Street View camera around really fast you can pretend he's doing a spin attack, but there sadly aren't any monsters to fight or chests to unlock, as far as I can tell. Just a fun little tweak in celebration of Zelda's 30th anniversary - along with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, which came out today.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
