Gran Turismo 5 DLC delayed for US players

Gran Turismo 5's big DLC additions have been delayed until Oct 25 in the US. Asian and European players should be downloading the new content by the time you read this, but it won't hit American servers for another week. GT5 fans are a patient lot, so instead of bemoaning the one-week cool-off, celebrate the bonus Sony will be giving you for waiting a few more days.

“GT5 DLC will hit the North American Store on 10/25 but will include a special bonus,” Sony tweeted to its PlayStation account today, though no word on what that might comprise. But with four new packs to make your way through, or one $12 update including new tracks, cars, items and paints, what's one week in the grand scheme of things?
