GRAW 2 gameplay details
Even more Advanced Warfighter action in 2007
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, Ubisoft's next-gen sequel to one of the year's best squad-action titles, will feature impressive dynamic weather and environment effects, advanced AI over the original game and a number of enhancements to GRAW's brilliant Cross Com system.
Weather will now affect the levels around you, with puddles forming and collecting during heavy rainstorms, forcing you to constantly readjust your game plan as the weather worsens. For instance, heavy rain might mask your squad's movement but the noise of your buddies splattering through deep puddles could leave you vulnerable.
Above: In addition to improving the core gameplay, GRAW 2 should improve on the amazing visuals as seen in the original GRAW.
Other effects revealed in an article byprint mag Game Informer include new number-juggling techno-stuff - used to create realistic-looking dust clouds to obscure your vision and drift over levels, and enemies who'll seek to gain an advantage by climbing to higher ground, for instance.
Fortunately, your Cross Com will be boosted with an ability to flag up the threat levels of enemies, helping you judge which of your targets to drop first and which to leave for later. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 will be released for Xbox 360 and PC next year.
