Why you can trust GamesRadar+
Three years on from the first Grown Ups , Lenny (Adam Sandler) and childhood pals Eric, Kurt and Marcus (Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade) reunite in their New England hometown, where they take on a crew of strapping young fratboys (led by Heroes’ Milo Ventimiglia) who have invaded the swimming hole where they all used to hang out.
That’s about it for plot, unless you count a heap of bullshit about nagging wives and mixed-up kids.
The simplest way to put it is that if you liked the first Grown Ups, you will also like this one: it’s an equally shameless, just-as shoddy, no-less depressing sprawl of ‘life lessons’ and fat gags.
Although the deer-piss thing is something new.
