GTA: a history of cheats

Grand Theft Auto is best known as being the father of sandbox games, and one of the most controversial games ever made (that got released). But among fans, it’s possibly known just as well for its cheats – its brilliantly massive selection of cheats. With GTA IV on the horizon, we’ve dug our hands deep into our cheats crypt and unearthed over 200 old, but not tired, cheats from GTA III onward.

Grand Theft Auto III

22 cheats in GTA’s prolific legacy of button pressing were packed into GTA III, and they’ve gotten plenty of use since its release. Despite being six years old, we can still have a lot of fun screwing around with the predecessor to Vice City and San Andreas.
