GTA Online Independence Day 2023 bonuses and discounts in Fourth of July week
GTA Online Independence Day event unlocks free patriotic goodies
The GTA Online Independence Day event has returned for 2023, which means it's time to paint the town red, white, and blue as we celebrate another Fourth of July week in suitable patriotic fashion. This tradition has been kept going in GTA Online for a number of years, allowing players to stock up on limited availability Independence Day items so they can add a Stars and Stripes theme to their wardrobes, weapons, and vehicles. You can also claim free gifts, which this year include a monster truck and Mobile Operations Center liveries, plus a wide selection of discounts on other USA-themed items, along with huge bonuses for taking part in specific game modes. I've got a summary below of everything included in the GTA Online Independence Day 2023 event, so make sure you check them out before they're gone for another year!
When is the GTA Online Independence Day event?
The GTA Online Independence Day event starts, unsurprisingly, around the Fourth of July each year. The bonuses and discounts are usually available for a week or so afterwards, which means you have the best part of seven days to collect any promo items and rack up some extra GTA$ to boost your virtual bank account. In 2023, the GTA Online Independence Day event runs from June 29 through July 5.
What is the Finder's Keepers dynamic event?
GTA Online Finder's Keepers is a new dynamic event added during the Independence Day event in 2023, which involves spotting vehicles full of goods being moved across Los Santos and Blaine County. If you can take control of the transport vehicle and deliver it to your related business, then you'll replenish some of your Supplies for that enterprise. Don't worry if you don't own the right business though, as if that's the case then you'll be directed to a drop-off point instead to collect RP and GTA$ after delivery is made.
What items are available during the GTA Online Independence Day event?
As Rockstar explained in their 2023 announcement, you can claim the Vapid Liberator monster truck plus The Stars & Stripes, Eagle Claw, Eagle Claw Flag, and Fighting Freedom liveries for the Mobile Operations Center for free during the event week – the monster truck is available by scrolling down the Warstock Cache & Carry website, while the MOC liveries can be obtained from the workshop within your bunker. You can also play Business Battles for a chance to find the rare Pisswasser Beer Hat, Benedict Beer Hat, Patriot Beer Hat, Supa Wet Beer Hat, or Statue of Happiness T-Shirt in retrieved crates.
To continue the theme, you can also get 50% off the following limited availability GTA Online Independence Day items, so if you're looking to add a Stars and Stripes emblazoned motorcycle to your garage or something else equally patriotic then you can choose from the list below:
- Western Sovereign Motorcycle
- Car Horns
- Musket
- Firework Launcher
- Firework Ammo
- Tire/Parachute Smoke
- Facepaint and Clothing
- Mk II Weapon finishes
- Select Haircuts
- Masks
- Patriot Parachute
- USA Chute Bag
If you track down the GTA Online Gun Van, then you can also pick up the Firework Launcher and Musket for a discounted price.
As well as those GTA Online Independence Day items, you can also get 50% off all Hangar Workshops so you can create your perfect aircraft base, and there are discounts applied to the following vehicles:
- Pegassi Weaponized Ignus (Super) – 30% off
- Annis ZR350 (Sports) – 30% off
- Grotti Visione (Super) – 30% off
- HVY Menacer (Off-Road) – 40% off
- LF-22 Starling (Plane) – 40% off
- FH-1 Hunter (Helicopter) – 50% off
- Mobile Operations Center (and Upgrades) – 50% off
Finally, there are some big opportunities to earn bonus GTA$ and RP by taking part in specific events. There's triple GTA$ and RP on offer for Business Battles, plus double rewards for completing Air Force Zero work and double rewards on Smuggler Sell Missions.
Make sure you check out the GTA Online Independence Day event in 2023, so that you don't miss any of the limited time items and great deals such as these.
