GTA Online Tornado Week brings double RP, new SUMO maps and a Tornado Custom
Rockstar has announced another week of discounts, double RP and brand new bits for GTA 5's huge online element. Tornado Week kicks off today and adds two new maps to the Sumo mode that appeared alongside last month's Lowrider Custom Classics update. If you haven't tried it yet, Sumo sees you smashing opponents out of a dedicated arena in your suitably pimped out cars.
The new maps to turn your opponents into shredded metal are set atop the SS Bulker in the docks and on the rooftop of the Sightings Bar & Restaurant so there's plenty of space for carnage. Also available today is double RP opportunities in curated playlists and all Sumo Adversary Modes in GTA Online, as well as Contact Missions from the Lowriders update. The playlist schedule for double RP is below.
Friday April 1 - Sunday April 3 - Sumo Adversary Modes (including the new maps)
Monday April 4 - Tuesday April 5 - Street Races
Wednesday April 6 - Thursday April 7 - Street Races (different set of Jobs)
Tomorrow brings the arrival of the Declasse Tornado Custom which comes with a slew of customisable options that include roof designs and a selection of 'eclectic livery choices.' Mmmm, flames. All week there'll be 25% off select mods from Benny's Original Motor Works and all Los Santos Customs. Perfect for when you want to make your Tornado your very own. There's also 30% off the machete, machine pistol and any items of Lowriders clothing. Happy shopping.
