Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 behind-the-scenes image introduces the new Ravagers
Some lucky San Diego Comic Con attendees got a look at the first footage from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 over the weekend (read our report here), and it featured some new Ravagers in action. Director James Gunn has since taken to Instagram to further tease the new space pirates we'll be introduced to in a few months, and you can check it out below...

The most significant Ravager in that pic is Taserface, who comic book fans will know as a classic Guardians villain. Given that the sequel will have the space pirates turn on their leader Yondu (played once again by Michael Rooker), my guess is that the crew will rally around Taserface. We'll find out in just under a year.
Directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Kurt Russell, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will hit UK cinemas on April 28, 2017 and open in US theatres on May 5, 2017.
