A new poster has been released online for Iron Man 3 , this time featuring Guy Pearce as the brilliant geneticist Aldrich Killian.
Killian looks set to be the secondary villain in the film, behind Ben Kingsley’s Big Bad, The Mandarin, and is the source of the techno troubles Tony Stark begins to experience with his suit.
Killian is responsible for co-creating the Extremis nano-virus alongside Maya Hansen (Rebecca Hall’s character), and it’s this new threat that starts to chip away at the famous armour.
Pearce is looking quite Blue Steel in the new poster, although he’s helpfully clutching a pair of specs, just to remind you that he’s one of those science dudes…
Directed by Shane Black and co-starring Robert Downey Junior, Don Cheadle and Gwyneth Paltrow, Iron Man 3 will open in the UK on 3 May 2013.
