Haley still for Lantern?
Appears to be the studio’s fave...
Rumours of Jackie Earle Haley’s involvement in the Green Lantern movie project have been doing the rounds for what seems like an eternity.
While he’s undeniably the fan favourite to play villain Sinestro, Warner Bros seem to have been existing in blissful ignorance. Now they appear to have finally cottoned on.
Though it’s nothing official, Haley is apparently very much in favour with the studio thanks to his involvement in Watchmen and the upcoming Nightmare on Elm Street remake.
So will he join Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively (and possibly Peter Sarsgaard) in March? We expect there’ll be some sort of confirmation soon.
Unless the WB are really planning on Sinestro being more of a surprise cameo (even, gasp!, a post-closing-credits tease), which would sort of explain their pursed lips.
Want Haley? Need Sinestro? Give us a shout...
