Half-Life 2: Episode Two announced
Second chapter already in the works
Valve has confirmed today that Half-Life 2: Episode Two is in development, continuing Valve's drive into brand new episodic content for Half-Life 2 after announcing Episode One last week.
Episode One - which was originally titled Aftermath - will follow in the "more questions than answers" style of Half-Life 2, with no all-encompassing conclusion to tie up the hundreds of plot-lines. Instead, the expansion will explore what has happened to both the Combine Citadel and Dr Breen after Gordon's actions in the main game.
With each episode set to offer four-to-six hours of gaming, Half-Life 2 fans will be hoping each new chapter arrives in double-quick time, although we're certain that Valve will still leave us pondering Half-Life 's many mysteries long after the final installment.
