The Missile Pod, found inside the bases in Valhalla, functions like the Rocket Launcher by locking onto vehicles and turrets. Wielding it puts you into the new 3rd person mode. It's very useful to shake up positions where enemies are camped out. For example, to retake the central ridge grab the Missile Pod and launch yourself in the Mancannon. While you soften up the position with a barrage of explosives from the air, have your teammates rush in from a flank. The snipers will be too busy taking cover to pick off your guys, so you can get in close and eliminate their advantage.
