Halo 3 Beta Video Strategy Guide
Maximize your kill count with the latest info on Halo 3's new guns, gear, maps, and rides
Think of Territories as 3 Plots plus two. There are five strategic points that the attacking team is charged with capturing. Just move next to one of the points and you'll see a progress bar slowly fill as you capture the territory. Once captured, a territory can’t be won back by the defending team.
Communication and teamwork is key to winning this mode. Defenders should note that the arrows- representing each of the five territories on your radar- begin blinking whenever someone from the attacking team is in the process of capturing it. For attackers, it's easiest to capture each territory as a well-knit group. That way, if one person drops dead, the rest of your team will still be there to continue capturing the territory. However, sending one or two sneaky players past the frontline is a great way to split up your enemies' defense. Once someone slips past the frontlines and begins capturing territories away from the major conflicts, the defenders will have to split their forces to stop him.
