The Bubble Shield is the most visually spectacular of the new equipment. At first it may seem like a big, sparkly Oh Shit button, but the reality is that it has a few very specific uses. If you're in the middle of getting shot up, it's not going to save you.
The best use of the Bubble Shield is to protect a vital area in an objective game, such as a territory or flag drop. It can also come in handy when paired with a Sniper Rifle or other ranged weapon, providing instant cover to pop in and out of. We also used it effectively in Highground while hiding in the hole in the crumbly wall. Timing is essential when attacking a Bubble Shielded opponent. Melee, sticky grenades, or the shotgun will do right by you.
