Halo 3 teaser ad out next week

Friday 1 December 2006
A new TV advert for Halo 3 will be aired onxbox.comnext week and publisher Microsoft claims it will feature Master Chief as we've never seen him before.

The ad has been created by advertising agency McCann-Erickson and will be shown on US TV during ESPN Monday Night Football on 4 December but will be shown simultaneously on the net for the benefit of the rest of the world.

UK terrestrial TV viewers will eventually get to see the ad on Friday 15 December, when it will be shown at 22.45 on Channel 4. And if you still manage to miss it, it will be downloadable via Xbox Live Marketplace.

In other Halo 3 news, Microsoft has announced that from Monday 4 December gamers will be able to register online at halo3.com to take part in the public beta testing of Halo 3's online multiplayer.

Unfortunately the offer is only open to gamers in North America and registering will not guarantee participation in the beta testing - due to start in the spring - as only a select few will be able to get involved.
