Halo 3: "The biggest event of the year"
The finale to Bungie's trilogy touches down in September

Halo 3 will be releasedon Wednesday 26 September 2007.
"We intend to deliver a finale that will go down in entertainment history and leave people around the world with an experience that will be shared and enjoyed for years to come,” is the promise from Microsoft's ever-quotable Peter Moore. "Halo 3 is much more than just a videogame release; it's the biggest entertainment event of the year."
Halo 3 will be the final chapter in Bungie's galaxy-crawling trilogy, but fans shouldn't fret about suffering too much withdrawal. Not only is Halo Wars still on the way, but Microsoft is confident that the Halo universe isn't going to be abandoned - the head of Microsoft's Game Studios, Shane Kim, recently stated in an interview with US publication The Mercury News that: "There are more stories to tell in the Halo universe". And we don't think he means just another novelisation...
