Level nine:
The story: Finally, you make it to Halo, back where it all started. This is a return to, perhaps, Alpha or Delta Halo, but could actually be another Halo altogether (there were seven, after all). Here it is certain that MC will activate the rings or some other kind of superior Forerunner technology in defense against the Flood, thus fulfilling his role and fate as the Reclaimer.
The evidence: We started out crash-landing on Halo all those years ago, so it seems fitting that we end the saga on one too. The E3 trailer gives us a few glimpses of what appears to be a Halo ring from space, only it looks different. As if it's been warped or twisted in some way.
The gameplay: It's difficult to imagine exactly how this level will play out, but if Halo 2 is anything to go by, we can expect a boss battle of some sort. But who's left? If we've already stopped the Brutes and Gravemind, who's going to challenge us? Could there be a betrayal brewing? From the Arbiter perhaps? Or an unexpected return from another "dead" character?
