HaloRadar: Try Before You Buy
Are Halo 3's new maps worth the cash? Videos and impressions to help you decide
Oh boy, a warehouse! Yeah, it's difficult to muster much excitement for a dusty room full of crates of catwalks, but Foundry's true potential lies in the hands of the players. According to Bungie, this map is the ultimate Forge sandbox, with an infinite number of possible arrangements and constructions. And yet... won't any user edit still be just a warehouse, only with the crates and catwalks in slightly different locations?
Alright, we're being cynical. Honestly, we can imagine a bunch of cool setups coming out of Foundry... mazes, raceways, platformers, etc. Until the community creates them, though, this map is the dullest and most unsurprising of the bunch. We enjoy the nonstop action (again, reminiscent of Call of Duty 4's multiplayer), but we can get that for free in The Pit.
