Above: The epic scale of the Eiger Nordwand track is something we'll be demanding from GT5
Bridge crossing
By exiting the preceding hairpin with a balanced car you'll be able to simply power over this bridge and shave seconds off your time. The key is to stay tight on the exit of the hairpin, close to the gravel trap. Keep your eyes on the opposite edge of the bend - the second it opens up you need to be straight enough to get on the throttle.
Like in the picture above, it doesn't matter if you're pointing straight at the bridge. From this position you can accelerate instantly and ease the car into line, shooting over the bridge and into the left-hand sweep with maximum speed.
One final tip is to focus on where you're headed - the other side of the bridge - and ignore the barriers on the sides of the bridge itself. Hit them and the time trial is effectively over, but focusing elsewhere will help guide you between them and out of the other side without incident.
