Hangover director shoots down Charlie Sheen cameo rumours
“It's not true. It's so frustrating”
Hangover II director Todd Phillips has shot down rumours that Charlie Sheen and Bill Clinton will both be making cameos in the upcoming sequel.
“Somebody on some tiny little site made something up that said Charlie Sheen was in talks for Hangover 2 and then it gets picked up on every other site as a fact,” an annoyed-sounding Phillips revealed to EW . “It's not true. It's so frustrating.”
The director went on to add that Bill Clinton won’t be appearing the film either, despite the former US president dropping by the set.
“He stopped by the set because the Secret Service guys were like, ‘Hey, that would be fun on the way out of town to stop by a movie set,’” said Phillips. “But you can't control what somebody writes on the Internet.”
So just who will be cameoing in Hangover II ? We know Liam Neeson’s pitching up as a tattoo artist, but who knows what else Phillips has up his sleeves.
The Hangover II opens 26 May.
