Harry Potter producer adapting Adventures Of Oscar Pill
David Heyman tackling French series
With Harry Potter finally coming to a climax this year, producer David Heyman has begun looking for the next big thing.
According to him, that next big thing will be Oscar Pill, the star of a series of French youth novels that Warner Bros. have just acquired the feature film rights to.
Written by physician and author Eli Anderson, the series consists of five novels, and follows Oscar Pill, who discovers that he has the ability to enter the human body and explore the worlds there.
He embarks on a mission to fight the enemies of an order known as Medicus, and must travel through the five worlds of the human body, discovering trophies along the way that let him into the next world.
It’s a bizarre concept to say the least, but one that easily offers itself up to a series of film adaptations. Move over Inner Space ...
