Has former Misfits actor Iwan Rheon (Simon) nabbed himself a role in Game Of Thrones ? Some investigative work by WinterIsComing.net would suggest there’s a strong possibility.
The rumours began when this image was posted in Facebook, of Rheon out on the lash in Belfast with Game Of Thrones cast members Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne Of Tarth) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister). (So now you now where to go for good star-spotting craic in Belfast.)
After some further research the site discovered Rheon’s CV on his agency’s official site, which lists him being cast in the role of “Boy”. From this, WinterIsComing.net is guesstimating that Rheon could be playing Ramsay Snow, the bastard of Roose Bolton, who (off screen) was sent by Robb Stark and Roose to reclaim Winterfell from Theon Greyjoy.
So, it looks eminently possible. Let’s hope there’s official confirmation soon.
