Heavy Rain: Director's Cut edition dated for Nov 8
Bonus content added to the hunt for the Origami Killer
Sony has released details of the Special Edition of Heavy Rain that'll be showing up in stores on November 8. True to the game's cinematic aspirations, Heavy Rain: Director's Cut will include the sort of things commonly found on similarly-branded movie DVDs (extra content, plenty of making-of content). Developer Quantic Dream has also found time to include a generous amount of content that miserly movie retailers would happily charge extra for.

The Director's Cut of Heavy Rain, priced at $29.99, goes on sale Nov 8. It will contain the original game plus the Move support update. The DLC prequel, The Taxidermist, is included, as well as the game's 16-track original soundtrack. Included for your eyes are additional trailers, concept art and 8 behind-the-scenes videos. The pack also includes three dynamic themes; a fourth will be available for free PSN download come Nov 8, allowing you to preview what immaculate design sensibilities Heavy Rain could be bringing to your console if you'd only let it.
