Heres a sneak peek at the battle action in Game of Thrones season 6
Through posters and previews that insist on prodding at the never-ending Jon Snow debate, we've had a few meagre glimpses at Game of Thrones season 6 over the last few months. Without a proper full-length trailer though, we're totally in the dark about where exactly this upcoming season plans to venture. And it's kind of a biggie, seeing as this is the first one to stray completely from the books.
Even though it's not the trailer we wanted, this new behind-the-scenes featurette does a fantastic job of stoking our curiosity. The clip splits its time between the camera operators who offer up technical detail about how they bring the show to life. Check it out below:
Not a geyser of unseen footage but still, there's a few snippets from the upcoming season. If you squint you'll be able to make out moments featuring Daenerys, Melisandre and Tyrion, as well as what looks to be a mammoth battle sequence. Still... no sign of the bastard was there?
Season 6 of Game of Thrones premieres on HBO on April 24, 2016 in the US, and airs on Sky Atlantic the next day in the UK.
