Heroes Reborn Super Bowl TV spot arrives: watch now
NBC got in on the Super Bowl trailer action last night, dropping the first teaser for their event series revival Heroes Reborn.
To use a culinary analogy: if a standard teaser trailer is an appetiser, then this brief glimpse into the world of the heroes is more like an amuse-bouche. Have a look at the shortest trailer of the ‘bowl:
It’s a very, VERY short spot that offers a look at returning cast member Jack Coleman as Noah Bennett (aka Horn-rimmed Glasses) and newbie Zachary Levi. The latter is watching a young girl who appears to be contorting the Aurora Borealis... oh dear. That's not likely to end well is it?
The 13-episode miniseries is the work of original series creator, Tim Kring, who will be delving back into the world of the Heroes once more.
In its original incantation the show ran for four seasons from 2006-2010, revolving around a bunch of seemingly ordinary people who discover they each possess superhuman abilities. Their paths cross when they realise they must work together to change the world.
Heroes Reborn is expected to arrive sometime in 2015.
