According to a speech given at the Banff World Television Festival by Jana Bennett, director of BBC Vision, the BBC will be airing the third season of Heroes simultaneously with it broadcast on NBC in the States.
We don't think she means literally simultaneously, as Heroes is shown at 9pm in the US which would be the early hours of the morning here - presumably episodes will be broadcast on BBC within a week of the US broadcast. Which is simultaneous enough for us.
Heroes season three begins airing on NBC with a two-hour season premiere on 22 September. And we're crossing our fingers it'll get back on form (certainly things perked up again at the end of season two...)
UPDATE: Following in the footsteps of Kristen Bell, another actor from Veronica Mars is set to join Heroes. Francis Capra - who played biker bad boy Weevil - will be joining Heroes as a character called Jesse.
