Hideo Kojima teases Fox Engine project, see-thru underwear
New images from Kojima Production's new engine hit the net
Hideo Kojima today tweeted two new images showcasing the raw power of his studio's new Fox Engine. Oddly enough, we don't know which is more exciting.
“One of the key features about 'FOX Engine', here's the transparent technique. See-thru underwear,” he tweeted, tongue firmly planted in cheek, before posting this:
In addition to the revealing screenshot, Kojima also posted a CGI-quality capture from an unannounced war game. Some speculate the shot may be from Kojima Production's Project Ogre title, which was hinted at by Kojima in an interview with the UK's PlayStation Official Magazine, who said, “It’s a little bit different to what I’ve done up until now. On the surface it will look similar, but once you get into it, it will be a different experience – and I’m hoping people look forward to that.”
The Fox Engine is being developed internally by Kojima's studio to cut down on production costs and development time. Up until a week ago, it was the engine running Metal Gear Rising. However, that has changed now that the game has been adopted by Platinum Games (Bayonetta, Mad World), and given an altered name, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Rest assured, we'll keep you posted if anything on Project Ogre, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, or see-thru bras comes up.
