Ubisoft has released the Homeland DLC pack for Splinter Cell Blacklist. Priced at £4.69 / $6.99 on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U, the add-on features two missions previously only available with the 5th Freedom Collector’s Edition of the title, as well as fresh weapons and gear that served as pre-order bonuses for the game.
Billionaire’s Yacht is a Grim mission in which players infiltrate a yacht in the Coral Sea, while Dead Coast is a Kobin mission which sees players take on a terrorist cell in the Middle East. Both levels are playable solo or co-operatively. The DLC also includes a crossbow with sleeping gas bolts, an Upper Echelon Suit which blends into the shadows and offers better protection against fire power, plus a 4E Eclipse suit offering premium protection and allowing Fisher to carry more gadgets. Whisper Boots, MBS Boots, Tactical Gloves, gold, amber and white goggles, plus new skins for Spies vs. Mercs round off the package.
We said in our Splinter Cell Blacklist review: "Blacklist is a well-designed game from top to bottom, one that is both accessible and flexible. It doesn't force you into playing a specific way, and it provides all the tools necessary to accommodate your playstyle, retaining the agility of its predecessor without its restrictions."
