Let's just cut to the chase: the PS4 Pro looks like a triple-decker hamburger, while its siblings the standard model PS4 and PS4 Slim are of the double-patty variety. It's a decidedly chunky-looking console. But looks can be deceiving, and so for those wondering how the Pro stacks up to both previous models of the PS4 as well as the Xbox One and Xbox One S, we've created the size comparison video you see above.
I admit, I was surprised how well the PS4 Pro maintains a low profile. While it's about a thumb-width wider than the base model PS4 that launched in 2013, that's nothing compared to the original Xbox One. Microsoft's console positively engulfs the entire PS4 lineup, including the Pro. The Xbox One S compares relatively well, being just about as wide but significantly less deep than Sony's new console.
If space isn't much of a concern for you and you'd rather focus on the software, we've got a full list of every PS4 Pro compatible game just waiting for you to pick through.
