How It's Done: Meet the writer of Rise of the Tomb Raider
Rise of the Tomb Raider is in many ways the reboot that the last adventure billed itself as. Whereas that game turned out to be a great story about Lara Croft's early days as a bad ass, you spent far more time shooting people than you did exploring and clambering over things as is the signature of the series. It felt more like a new franchise rather than Tomb Raider. Now, though, in her debut on Xbox One, Lara feels like a true explorer, diving into myriad caves and crypts. There are still gun fights but demonstrably more tombs. What remains the same is the remarkable flare for storytelling which is why we're so excited to be talking to Rhianna Pratchett, Rise of the Tomb Raider's writer. Join us for a live interview with her and an early look at the game starting at 4:30PM ET/1:30PM PT.
