Hugh Jackman offered role in Snow White And The Huntsman
Could play the titular Huntsman
Hugh Jackman has been offered the role of the Huntsman in Universal’s Snow White And The Huntsman.
Viggo Mortensen recently passed on the part, leaving Universal scrabbling about for a suitable replacement.
We’d say they’ve found the perfect alternative in Jackman, who’s already fit as a fiddle and the perfect embodiment of the fairytale character.
If Jackman signs on, he’d join Kristen Stewart as Snow White and Charlize Theron as the evil Queen.
Considering Jackman’s other big project, The Wolverine , has hit a major snag with director Darren Aronofsky departing, he should have the time to sneak in a role as the Huntsman before another director is found for the comic adap.
This Snow White update shouldn't be confused with Tarsem Singh's own Snow White film, which will star Lily Collins as the titular heroine and Julia Roberts as the evil Queen.
