As anyone familiar with The Hunger Games will know, entering the arena isn’t a walk in the park.

And in Catching Fire , the stakes are raised, with the 75th annual games marking a Quarter Quell - meaning something big has to happen.

With Katniss’ act of defiance sowing a seed of rebellion throughout the districts, President Snow decides on a particularly fiendish format for the games: the tributes will be reaped from existing winners only, meaning the calibre of entrants is much higher, and Katniss and Peeta are all but guaranteed to be going back in…

When we caught up with The Hunger Games: Catching Fire cast - including Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and newbs Sam Claflin and Jena Malone - we asked them for their tips on preparing for the arena. Seems Claflin had his work cut out transforming into the oft-shirtless Finnick Odair...
