"I need that shit you drive"
Why GTA San Andreas will never fade away
Inevitably, the game’s main thrust concerns Carl’s rise to power, and along the way he gains the love and respect of his family by killing a great many people in the wrong colour trousers. And by the time you get to San Fierro and Las Venturas, Rockstar really turns up the heat on the traditional seek and destroy-type missions. You carry out assassinations with radio control planes, break into military and Navy compounds to steal helicopters, jets and alien tech, rob cops of their bikes and drive them onto a moving getaway truck, bury a man in concrete while he’s on the loo, basejump onto a dam to plant explosive charges... in San Andreas, the old GTA thug has turned into James Bond.
