Ian McShane is a dwarf in Snow White And The Huntsman

Ian McShane has landed the role of dwarf leader Caesar in Snow White And The Huntsman .

Just one of the myriad Snow White films currently in development, Huntsman is being set up over at Universal and already boasts an impressive cast.

Kristen Stewart is playing the titular beauty, Chris Hemsworth the Huntsman and Charlize Theron the evil queen whose jealousy tumbles Snow White into a dangerous adventure.

McShane is a fine addition to that A-list cast, the actor most recently having brought the goods in the latest Pirates Of The Caribbean movie – even though he wasn’t given nearly enough to do.

Hopefully Huntsman will recognise what a coup McShane’s casting is and duly beef up the role of Caesar.

Huntsman will begin shooting this August with director Rupert Sanders at the helm. It’ll be in competition with Tarsem Singh’s currently shooting (and untitled) Snow White film when both are released early next year.
