The 25YEARLEGEND album started as a side project by indie musician Roger Hicks (aka Rekcahdam), but quickly expanded to include works from other notable gaming composers including Jimmy Hinson (Mass Effect 2, Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix), Daniel Rosenfield (Minecraft), Magnus Palsson (VVVVVV), Jeff Ball (Monkey Island 2: Special Edition), Laura Shigihara (To the Moon), and many more. The Legend of Zelda series will also be honored as Spike TV's first Video Game Hall of Fame inductee during the network's 2011 Video Game Awards on December 10.
