Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet: The coolest thing we've seen all week
Mesmerizingly bizarre screens and video from the 2D-animated Xbox Live Arcade indie
Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network are full of surprises. What started off as homes to endless UNO matches and Frogger ports now boast some of the most unique, challenging and unapologetically artistic games of this generation… experiences like Braid, Flower, Everyday Shooter andupcoming Limbo.
Here's another game I'm hoping will be added to that list – the awesomely titled but even more awesomely animated Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, confirmed today for release on XBLA. Watch this trailer and check out some of the screens below. I can barely tell what's going on, or what genre this game will fall into, but I can already tell that Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet will be unlike anything I, and probably you, have ever played. In an industry choked with shooters and RPGs, that's enough reason to take notice.

I've seen enough: Assassin's Creed Shadows will beat Black Flag as my favorite AC game as Ubisoft says it lets you "Naruto run" as the "fastest Assassin" it's ever made
