James Bond meets Q in a new clip from Skyfall: watch now

Skyfall has released a new clip online, featuring the Ben Whishaw’s Q and Daniel Craig’s James Bond.

The footage focusses on Bond’s first meeting with his new quartermaster (whom he catchily dubs ‘Q’) in London’s National Gallery.

Speaking in potent metaphors about a piece of art, the scene encapsulates the fear that 007 might be an outdated relic in the modern world.

There’s a nice odd-couple interplay between the pair, which we’ll hopefully get to see develop across the course of a couple more franchise entries.

Watch the Skyfall clip (courtesty of Yahoo! ) below:

Skyfall opens in the UK on 26 October 2012.
