James Cameron to produce big new sci-fi Myth
Avatar star Sam Worthington co-producing
James Cameron just can’t get himself enough science fiction. Though he’s already busy working on two sequels to Avatar , he’s also signed on to produce Myth for 20th Century Fox.
Though little is known about the project, Heat Vision reports that the film is a big sci-fi with “lots of action”, which obviously ticks a lot of Cameron’s boxes.
The Avatar director has signed on to executive produce the film, while Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Avatar actor Sam Worthington are both attached to co-produce.
Is this Fox’s way of getting Cameron and Worthington involved before convincing them to direct and star?
They’ll be lucky to get either of them to sign contracts considering how big Avatar 2 and 3 are likely to be.
And even though Worthington will be the less busy one on the big budget sequels, he’s already tied into numerous other contracts, including Wrath Of The Titans and Drift .
