Jamie Bell is Spielbergs Tintin!
And Daniel Craig's playing Red Rackham
With filming kicking off in LA, Steven Spielberg has finally nailed down his Tintin, with Jamie Bell taking on the part in The Adventures of Tintin: Secret Of The Unicorn
And that’s not all the Tintin casting news for today: Daniel Craig has also signed on for the role of pirate captain Red Rackham.
Spielberg’s cast for Tintin is now swelling quickly, given that Andy Serkis, Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, Priceless actor Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones and Mackenzie Crook have all agreed to be part of the team.
Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish
While the plot of the 3D motion capture adventure is mostly being kept under wraps, the movie will take most of its plot from Herge’s Unicorn story, which finds the young hero investigating hidden treasure and up against the nefarious Bird Brothers.
Variety’s report also drops the interesting titbit that the film’s script is by a combination of Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish. Come on you Brits!
