Japanese HD Ico and Shadow of the Colossus trailers are unsurprisingly gorgeous
Team Ico's past gets a prettier future
Ever wanted to see Team Ico’s breathtakingly beautiful output without the PS2’s trademarked fog of last-gen war? Well, you’re chance is NOW, with two new trailers for the upcoming ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection in a language most of you won’t be able to comprehend.
Of the two trailers, Ico emerges as the most impressive, due to its tendency to use more light and a larger color palette.
Now, Shadow of the Colossus ain’t no slouch in the visual department, either. It’s just that the giant-killing epic stuck with darker colors and grayer grays for its motif, and now you've got to settle toviewing the upgradeencoded in Flash, or whatever the hell our video player does...But oh man, you should’ve seen ‘em in the raw format they were sent to us in!
Above: See?! More like this
And Sony, after you're done with Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, we've gota list of other games that could use an HD makeover. You're welcome!
