What’s Michael?
What do cats really think about? This adorable series of manga shorts by artist Makoto Kobayashi is as good an insight as you’re likely to get. It captures the essence of cat in a way that no other feline comic ever has, and is divided into two main story types - one with Michael and family in the world of various humans, and another set deep in the secret cat world, where suit-wearing cats disgrace themselves at business meetings. It was made into an anime series in the mid 1980s.
