Oh My Goddess!
Keiichi Morisato dials a wrong number and winds up getting the goddess Belldandy as his permanent companion. The long-running manga and anime series follows their adventures, generally in the field of motor engineering - Morisato is an expert mechanic in his college racing team, Belldandy uses her goddess powers to help him win, and her younger sister, Skuld, builds a pretty cool robot housekeeper out of a vacuum cleaner.

The US DVDs and collections of the comics are available at specialists such as Forbidden Planet, sometimes as Ah! My Goddess.
Play it
It would make a fantastic combination of Chibi-Robo and Mario Kart - especially if it used the super deformed Mini Goddess characters.
