Jason Bateman & Melissa McCarthy Interview - Identity Thief

There's a reason Identity Thief rocketed to the top of the US box office to become the year's biggest smash yet.

Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman bring their comedic A-game, and we sat down with them to discuss the road trip buddy movie.

The plot finds mild-mannered businessman Sandy Patterson (Bateman) travelling from Denver to Miami to confront and apprehend the woman who's stolen his identity (and credit cards, dignity and reputation in the process). Only it turns out that while the perp (McCarthy) may look all sweetness and light, she's anything but.

Cue a mismatched buddy-up as they're forced to drive cross-country - all the while fleeing from gun-toting gangsters, bounty hunters and the occasional sexual conquest.
