From Death Eater to Jedi Hunter
Harry Potter actor Jason Isaacs will voice the deadly Inquisitor in animated series Star Wars Rebels.
Set between Episodes III and IV, Rebels will see the Empire assert its command over a Galaxy Far, Far Away while the few remaining Jedi are hunted across the stars by the Imperial Inquisitor.
Despite wielding a red lightsaber and tapping into the dark side the Inquisitor is not a Sith according to Lucasfilm’s Pablo Hidalgo. “His intensity is based on the purpose of the assignment,” Hidalgo says, while Chris Glenn, concept artist, adds “He’s familiar with a lot of the Jedi ways and training tactics, and he uses that knowledge against Kanan.” Watch the video above for all the information.
Star Wars Rebels is scheduled to premiere in autumn 2014 as a one-hour special on the Disney Channel, and will be followed by a series on Disney XD.
