Jennifer Lawrence talks X-Men: Days Of Future Past
Describes Mystique as "mutant and proud"
Jennifer Lawrence has been talking about her role in X-Men: Days Of Future Past , and how her character Mystique has changed since the last film.
Having initially struggled to come to terms with her mutant abilities, Mystique is now a lot more comfortable in her own skin, which is handy, given how much of it she shows off.
"Some of the Mystique look is a little different, but we’re still using the same paint," says Lawrence of her character, before going on to reveal that she'll spend a lot more of this film sans-clothes…
"She’s different in this film, too," continues Lawrence. "She was struggling – like a lot of normal humans – with the way she looked, and she was covered up a lot in the first movie, but this time she is mutant and proud."
Sounds like hanging out with Magneto has had quite the influence on her… Directed by Bryan Singer and co-starring Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Hugh Jackman, X-Men: Days Of Future Past will open in the UK on 22 May 2014.
