Jesse Eisenberg and Dakota Fanning star in first trailer for Night Moves: watch now

The first trailer has arrived online for eco-thriller, Night Moves , in which Jesse Eisenberg, Dakota Fanning and Peter Sarsgaard plot to destroy a hydroelectric dam.

The trio are radical environmentalists railing against the resource-harvesting approach to the natural world that has become the norm in contemporary society.

However, mounting a protest on this kind of scale is dangerous work, and becomes even more so when cracks begin to emerge between our three protagonists.

Take a look at the new trailer, below:

The new trailer gives a good impression of the tension and paranoia that pervades the film, with the bond between the three co-conspirators gradually whittling away to fear and mistrust.

Directed by Kelly Reichardt and co-starring Alia Shawkat, Night Moves will open in the UK on 29 August 2014.
