Shawn Ashmore is best known for playing Bobby Drake/Iceman in the X-Men movies (though some people, like the editors on Wikipedia and our Jordan in the SFX office still reckon he’s more famous for Animorphs ), while Aaron was Jimmy Olsen in Smallville . They haven’t actually acted together for about 15 years.
“We’re having fun with it, running around on set and fooling everybody,” says Shawn “It’s been fun. It’s a huge experience and a good show. I think the quality of Fringe is really high and the episode is done well and our characters are intelligent. We’re going to have some fun.”
