Joanna Newsom appears on Muppets soundtrack
Plus full tracklisting announced
Joanna Newsom and Feist will both appear on The Muppets soundtrack.
That noise you can hear in the distance? That's the sound of hipsters exploding through sheer giddy joy.
Newsom will be appearing on the iconic Muppet Show theme (we're not sure if she'll be singing, or just playing her harp, but either way we're ridiculously excited) and Feist will join Mickey Rooney (!) and many, many others for what looks set to be this film's Rainbow Connection, Life's A Happy Song.
Joanna Newsom's voice is more divisive than a conversation about what will be better, The Dark Knight Rises or Avengers , but no-one can deny that her sound is perfectly suited to the Muppets. She even looks a bit like a Muppet (and we mean that in the nicest possible way, Joanna).
Spoiler-phobes should probably avoid looking too closely at the track titles, as there are some plot points that can be gleaned from them, but the full soundtrack list is below.
